AITasker ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the AITasker mobile application (the "App").

1. Data Collection and Usage

AITasker is designed with a "Privacy-First" approach. We believe that your personal data, including your tasks and schedules, should remain under your control.

A. Personal Information (Tasks and Goals)

• What we collect: The App allows you to create tasks, descriptions, and goals.
• How we use it: This data is used solely to provide task management features within the App.
• Storage: All tasks and goals are stored locally on your device in a secure database. We do not transmit this data to our servers.

B. Voice Input (Audio)

• What we collect: When you use the voice input feature, the App accesses your device's microphone.
• How we use it: Audio is captured only when you initiate the voice command to transcribe your speech into task text.
• Third-Party Processing: Voice-to-text transcription is handled by your device's default Speech Recognizer (typically Google Speech Services on Android). This service may process audio data according to its own privacy policy. AITasker does not store or transmit your raw audio recordings.

C. Natural Language Processing (AI)

• How it works: AITasker uses a local AI model to parse your natural language input.
• Privacy: After an initial download of the AI model, all processing of your text input is done on-device. Your input text is never sent to a cloud service for AI analysis.

2. Permissions

The App requests the following permissions for specific features:

• Internet: Required to download the local AI model file.
• Record Audio: Required for the voice input feature.
• Post Notifications: Required to send you reminders for your tasks.

2. Data Storage and Security

• No Cloud Sync: Currently, AITasker does not offer cloud synchronization. Your data is only as secure as your device.
• Data Deletion: If you delete a task or goal within the App, it is permanently removed from your device's local database. Uninstalling the App will also delete all data associated with it.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services (Speech Recognizer): Used for voice-to-text transcription.
• Android Download Manager: Used for downloading the AI model.

These services may collect information used to identify you. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
